“We now have had lunch quite a few times at Middletown’s and, everytime we’ve enjoyed the food: we tend to have the fixed price menu for 2 courses at £13.97. We’ve tried the croquettes (beef) and the garlic mushrooms, as alternative starters to Caprese salad and Goujons. We love them all!
For main course, we tend to have the beer battered haddock with fries or green vegetables (served with slivers of Parmesan). Everything is always cooked to perfection and so far we haven’t managed to try their desserts because we are full up!
Today we were served by Kasia, who was excellent as per usual! She knows exactly what beer my husband will have and that I only drink water!
We always receive a warm welcome and it’s lovely that we can have a more personalised chat with the staff, due to our frequent visits?
Vegetarian options: On the fixed lunch menu: 2 vegetarian started: Caprese salad and garlic mushrooms.

Parking: A short walk from car park at the back of the swimming pool

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps at the entrance and disabled toilet is on the ground floor.”
“Great pub. We arrived without a booking but were seated quickly. The host and waitress were both excellent. The food arrived quickly and was very high quality, as I would expect from a Miller & Carter. Highly recommend. One thing to note, the car park is off to the left as you drive in, don't go in to the Fox and Raven car park, the entrance to which comes up first on the right.”
