I just had battered cod. Unfortunately crispy outside but inside undercooked. I also read in one of the reviews they use PALM oil, I don’t know if true but if it is I won’t be going back for that reason alone.

Nice little fish and chip shop.Visited on a Monday evening. Quickly served by a very polite lady, and we didn't need to wait long to receive our order.Good portions, and chips were not over cooked or greasy. Fish was good size, and again not greasy. All in all a good fish and chip shop, would definitely come again if in the area.

Every time I go there the price changes even though I order exactly the same every time it can be £20-£30 different each and every week I go there they are the worst fish and chip shop in the whole of Chelmsford and Rachel

The best chip shop chips I have eaten! Palm oil too, not a seed oil. Wonderful staff, so calm. Definitely worth every penny. Great added enjoyment to to sit at the duck pond, on a bench in the sunshine! Heaven!Vegetarian options: Chips! Yum!
