the soup looked so daunting that i won’t eat it … i’m genuinely fearing for my health after ingesting some of this food because of how disturbingly bad it looks and tastes. Pls do better , plus service was not good. The soup ? this has to be some sort of attempt on me it looks so bad?????

Absolutely amazing food. Having grown up in China, I can genuinely say that this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Chelmsford. I tried this a while back and wasn't too impressed, but I believe it is under new management now as this is the next best thing in Chelmsford! Well done Good Season Express! I’m sorry but this is the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The chicken balls were really thick gooey batter, soggy dumplings, dry rice and the duck pancakes were not nice! They need to rethink there cooking - awful.

Ordered first time through Uber eats, shredded beef with peppers and onions, well, 3 small pieces of beef, 2 slices of peppers and just onions in sauce is what I got. Rice was warmish and not tasty, my young daughter didn't want to eat it and she begged me to order her fried rice, because she ate previously from a different restaurant and she loved it, but refused to eat this one.

Ordered takeaway over two hours ago and it’s still not arrived. Currently keeping my 9 year old awake for her dinner.Calling the restaurant we are told 15 minutes on the first call. Then they ignore all calls since.Finally arrived and driver didn’t apologise
Total waste of time. Ordering prawn chow mein over cooked out of date prawn, over cooked out of date calamari, cooked in out of date oil . I was sick immediately need to close down. Really disappointed. And I was so hungry as well. Stay far away this is a WARNING !!!!!

The food was the worst I’ve ever had . Send a wrong dish with a dish missing. The chicken balls were black the rice looked like it had been scraped from a saucepan and had black bits in it all in all appalling

As for the curry sauce, it was a complete mess – lacking flavor and consistency, it left me feeling nauseous. And to make matters worse, the sweet and sour sauce emitted a rancid smell, raising serious concerns about its safety.Overall, the food at this take-away shop was well below acceptable standards, and I strongly urge everyone to avoid it. It's crucial to prioritize our health and well-being when dining out, and this establishment falls far short of providing a safe and enjoyable culinary experience.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I never normally like to complain but this is one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The delivery took 1 hour and a half when it was meant to take 40 mins. When we got it, my boyfriend got burnt plain rice instead of egg fried rice, and the chicken was slimy. The spring rolls were greased with fat, so much so I couldn’t eat them. It’s very worrying this place is still open, as the reviews are all one star and lots of reports of food poisoning. I don’t understand how you can treat people so poorly.
