I recently visited the forresters arms ,I had a very nice experience. A perfect little country club with a nice atmosphere with a public bar area and ace saloon dining area. Very nice. I would recommend a visit.

Just had one of the most tasty meals you could ask for.. top marks to Mad Frank's for the outstanding food and service all at a really reasonable price - the pub is a traditional pub with a good selection of ales etc and a live band to top the evening off....we'll definitely return ?

Had a lovely Sunday Roast here today to celebrate Mother's Day, It was our first visit to this traditional local pub and we wouldn't hesitate to return. We had a delicious meal and were made to feel very welcome by the landlady Karen and barmaid Emily. We will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends.

Phoned up and booked a table for the England vs France game - very accommodating and a lovely little pub with open fire. Half time came and the barmaid brought round sandwich’s and sausage rolls even though we hadn’t ordered anything. Will be returning for a roast next time ?? thanks, Chris and the 5 others ?

Arrived early - decided to eat as our room not ready. Check in time at 3.00pm - however rooms not ready and still have to wait at 3.30 pm. Disappointing
Propa home cooking!This is a real pub, friendly staff, friendly locals, decent food cooked as it should be.The beef was melt in your mouth!Really enjoyable visit and we will definitely be back.
