“A really welcoming, friendly pub with a roaring real fire and a personable welcome. The team went above and beyond to accommodate us (4 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog) the food was excellent and it was a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend.”

“Had a lovely Sunday Roast here today to celebrate Mother's Day, It was our first visit to this traditional local pub and we wouldn't hesitate to return. We had a delicious meal and were made to feel very welcome by the landlady Karen and barmaid Emily. We will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends.”

“Would of been 5 star; the food was delicious, the staff was friendly, atmosphere was great.. only downside was when we ordered the food they took the order to only then tell us 20 minutes later they had run out of pork belly and had to substitute it for turkey.. I feel they should make you aware at the beginning so we can change the order but other than that was great!”

“Food is actually very good and has improved over the years but this is another restaurant that has a newly introduced SERVICE CHARGE it’s really off putting actually people should be able to leave a tip at their own discretion. It’s embarrassing for people to ask for it to be removed. Times are hard and inflation is high and as it is and adding a service charge on top is not fair it put me of coming”
