This is the first time that me and my daughter have ever been to SANUK THAI in Ongar. What a beautiful rare gem this place is. The customer service was great, our waiter was very kind, and polite and helped us pick out the best food for us. The food was great especially the TOM KHA SOUP 10/10 I will definitely be having this soup again it was out of this world. Me and my daughter were treated really well. We will definitely be going again. Thank you Sanak Thai for giving us the most amazing food and customer service ?Parking: Me and my daughter came in an Uber and left in a cab. It was very hard to get a cab from there. Next time I will be driving there.

Unfortunately not for me. This is the second time we’ve tried Sanuk.We eat a lot of Thai food and after reading the reviews thought we would give Sanuk another go. The Green curry is just too sweet, much sweeter than any other green curry I’ve had at other Thai restaurants. The beef in the Massaman was tough. The Pad Thai had a strong sauce all over it that I’ve never tasted at other Thai restaurants. We also had salt & pepper squid. Quite tasteless to us. If you like your Thai food like this, then great. I’ve just had far superior food in the Chelmsford & Brentwood areas.

I was in there and taste their food. It was amazing and taste was really good. They serve fresh food. Staff were very professional and the place is clam and with charming vibe. I would highly recommend Sanuk and will go there surely again ❤️

Wow, found this restaurant by chance on a Sunday afternoon with my wife. We arrived and they offered us the buffet “all you can eat lunch at £21.95 per head” (you can go a La carte if you wish) the food is cooked fresh to order, so no hot tray buffet queuing. The food was amazing and kept coming. The service we received was second to none. My wife is a coeliac so can’t eat anything with gluten in. The staff were knowledgeable of ingredients and cared enough to take time to get it right and put my wife at ease.Food..tickService….tickCleanliness….tickValue for money…. tickAs Arnie would say “i’ll be back” and it won’t be long, this time with the whole family.Thanks to all staff for making our first visit a memorable one.Paul & Tracey BDietary restrictions: Very good with Coeliacs!
