Not disappointed wow the food is out of this world went for my wife's birthday. Our starters of garlic mushrooms and sticky steak bites were lush, we both had steak on the stone, steak was melt in the mouth I especially liked the blue cheese sauce ?. Our waitress Holly was great attentive without being overbearing (makes a change nowadays) we will definitely come back next time we are in the area.Parking: Small paid parking behind the restaurant was plenty of spaces when we came early evening but there is parking along the seafront that is free after 4pmKid-friendliness: Very accommodating of kids and the kids eat free 12am-7pm is a nice offer.

First time we’ve eaten at this restaurant and I can state with full confidence one of the nicest meals we’ve had. Holly our server was highly efficient and attentive. We both had fillet on the stone which comes with an array of sauces, which could be changed with no issue, price was reasonable for what you get and we left feeling full and satisfied. We will be back!!Dietary restrictions: I have some unusual allergies and they were more than able to accommodate, and adjust there dishes for me.

I recently dined at the Black Rock Steak House in Clacton, and I have to say, the presentation of the dishes was truly impressive. The ambiance and service were also pleasant. However, I was quite disappointed with the rump steak I ordered. It was unfortunately full of gristle and inedible bits, which was not what I expected, especially since I've visited this restaurant several times before.To make matters worse, my family members who also ordered the rump steak had similar complaints. It's disheartening to see such inconsistency in the quality of a restaurant we've enjoyed in the past. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration and works on improving the quality of their rump steaks

I’ve been in a few times and the food has been consistently amazing! So far i’ve tried the ribeye and sirloin on the stone - both absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cosy, welcoming and romantic for date nights! Many thanks to all the black rock staff!

Came here to eat with friends for a birthday, service was excellent and so friendly. Food was 10/10. We had the steak on the stones and it didn’t disappoint!! Cocktails were lovely! Freshly made. Highly recommend this place.
I've been here twice now in 2 weeks and both times has been a really enjoyable experience! The first time as table of 4, tonight as a table of 7. The staff were friendly and very attentive, even though it was busy, the food was delicious! Thankyou to all the staff for a lovely dining experience!

Came again the following night because we loved it. Great experience for 3 adults and 3 children 9, 8 & 7. My 9 year old asked for steak served on a lava stone. When it came to the table, the waiter could clearly tell we had NO idea what to do so offered to show us how to cut and manoeuvre the steak to cook to my daughter's preference. I was very relieved to have his help and my daughter spotted him offering the same service to neighbouring tables. I will upload photos of the food; steak, fish, nuggets, mac & cheese, calypso coffee, desserts.
