Me, my partner and our daughter came to try the Sunday lunch, Immediately greeted by very pleasant staff. who offered us a choice of tables and took our drinks order. We ordered the jerk roast, the lamb roast and a child’s roast. which was all absolutely lovely, freshly cooked , full of flavour and a very large portions . We also tried eve trifles and the biscoff cheesecake. We left feeling very full and happy. Will definitely go back

What a fabulous place in every way. Food was totally delicious and plenty of it. Great portions. Service and staff second to none. So friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great. Birthday party groups. Family parties. Just wonderful. Highly recomend this restaurant. We shall definitely be back.

Although they use a lot of bookers items, the food tasted great. A little over priced for clacton and food quality but it was for a birthday party. Service was slow and poor. Asked 5 times for a glass for the jug of water that was on the table. No check back either.

Celebrated my Dads 80th here on Mother’s Day.. we was looked after by Lisa she was fantastic made sure we was all happy and service from all staff was very polite.. service was quick food was lovely and good price. Will be booking my mother in law 80 here. Thank you for making it a special family memory.Parking: Open car park enough parking for restaurant we had we had 7 cars and all got parked.

Another visit to my brother in law & sister in law in clacton. We always go to Davey's for breakfast each day. Super choice and cooked to perfection as well as tasty. Excellent value for money with great service by friendly staff. Recommend a visit if you're in Clacton for breakfast or dinner. Ideal for families . Myself and my partner, went for our 8 year anniversary.We had never been before but heard wonderful things about the restaurant, so we decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did.The food was spectacular and the Presentation was beautiful! The staff was so pilot and very helpful!I honestly would recommend if you have never been, and you will not be disappointed.We look forward to going again!

This is a great fish and chips shop, the service is very friendly and the staff very helpful. The food is fresh and cooked perfectly. I've had a lot of fish and chips in my time and can day without a doubt that "Golden Plaice" is one of the best.Dietary restrictions: After speaking with staff we were informed that all the batter they use has milk in it. This was extremely helpful and prevented or soon from being sick

I cannot fault this place at all. Me and other half came in today, we had 2 sandwiches and 2 cream teas. Both of us were very impressed. The prices are good and you get a lot for your money. Sandwiches have generous fillings and they are very accommodating to what you like. The service is 5 star, greeted at the door, with a smile and happy, friendly staff. The food is great too. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely experience ?

We own a caravan on a local site and had some friends come to celebrate our sons birthday for the weekend and we enquired here about a booking on a Friday evening for 15 of us which was no trouble to them at all. We all ate and the food was delicious, piping hot and the service was excellent, we enjoyed the food so much that we actually booked to come back on the Sunday for a roast which also did not disappoint.The landlord, his wife and the whole team were so welcoming to us and couldn’t do enough to make us feel so welcome.They have a great selection of well kept beers and sprits, something to suit all of our party.We will definitely be back soon.Parking: There is a car park located at the side of the pub but if this is full there is also lots of parking on the roadKid-friendliness: We had two children with us and they were made to feel welcome too.

a little gem in High Street Clacton on Sea bright and clean with well laid out dining area food excellent full English with all top quality food and the bacon was how bacon should be cooked not ironed not stiff and it was tasty plate was full and it came with bread and tea all for £9.50 ! my partner had a well packed bacon and tomato sandwich lovely have a meal here and you will not regret it

Had a lovely family lunch here with the dog ! Very welcoming, busy but not overcrowded. Food was delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced too. The staff were very polite and helpful and this pub is really dog friendly, you can sit inside and we were offered water and dog biscuits. Well worth a visit.

The Wife and I popped into Clacton Town and did a bit of shopping. Then decided to have something to eat, so headed straight for Geo's as it's the best in town, we had a smashing meal ( Cod and chips, slice of bread and hot drink £13.95 each ) absolutely beautiful, I highly recommend Geo's and have been there many times. They never disappoint, good food, good service what more could you ask for.

We came across the Kabin cafe while on holiday, what a little gem. The staff where fantastic with our 2 Toddlers, moving tables arround so there was space for 2 highchairs and our double buggy. Food was home cooked and amazing. 6 of us eating ( all different meals) Food was great, staff were fantastic. 100% recommended for a lovely home cooked meal.

Great little place to stay. We was waiting for accommodation and stayed here a few times when I was pregnant. Great value for money and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Sixteen of as at Christmas from St Osyth Military Museum had a fantastic meal here, last night was our third visit for a family Anniversary and each visit has been Fab food, service could not ask for moor. This is a must for anyone to try, crazy if you do not, great staff, very highly recommend , we spent over 20 yrs in the trade ourselves in Valencia Spain with a very high reputation so know great food and value for money. give it a go you will not regret it.
