Had a great evening in here. 7 of us, 3 eating, 4 just drinks and absolutely no problem with that. 2 burgers and 1 macaroni cheese, all very nicely presented, lovely flavour, not too long a wait either. The cocktails were lovely - I can highly recommend the After Eight! prices were good. We had a lovely waitress, very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the evening so much that 3 of us booked in for brunch the following day - we had the same waitress which was really nice. The eat all you can brunch at jut £6 per person was great. one platter with 2 of everything and then you can just ask for extra items and they are brought to you. a much better idea than piling plates sky high and ending up with wasted food and it also meant that everything was hot and fresh. I would definitely go back again if I'm in Clacton.

We went to Charnallies recently for my mum's birthday and I honestly can't thank them enough for everything they did. They were so welcoming and helpful. Then when it was time for birthday cake they brought it out and sang happy birthday. The food was amazing and such great prices. I'd also like to say they have a great vegetarian selection. Thank you all at Charnallies, you're all amazing! :)Kid-friendliness: They were so kind with my nieces. They gave my 2 year old niece some colouring to do to keep her occupied.

Called in prior to a show at the Westcliff, lured in by a discount with our tickets! Waitress Emily, very welcoming and cheerful. Once we had ordered, didn't have to wait long at all. Food obviously freshly prepared and piping hot, (Not the salad though!) A very nice feed for not a lot of money. Very pleasant experience.

My son and I eat here a lot and every time the food and service has been spot on. Nothing is ever too much for the amazing staff - the interaction with them and my little one is amazing and he absolutely loves it! We’ve also been to their children events - most lately Meet Santa last Christmas; the gift he was hand given by Santa was perfect for his age and really amazing considering his ticket was only £10 and that included a huge breakfast! Charnallies will always be our number one choice when going out for food.

I booked a table for 4 for the 8th March as it was my friends big 50th birthday ?.I took balloons ? in before and the lovely ladies set up the table for me. We all had the lunch menu 3 courses for £14.50 the food was lovely, tasty and hot ?!! We are hoping to go back in April for another birthday . Thank you all for a lovely visit.5***** all the way.Parking: Found out afterwards there is a carpark behind the restaurant and there is a alley from the carpal to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors and ideal for a wheelchair ♿️

They must of changed chef the food tasted nice when we went in the summer , we went three days ago expecting the same quality, I ordered fish and chips with peas, no mushy peas and the peas were hard and no taste the fish was tasteless no flavour at all the chips were ok, the homemade tartar sauce was vingery was nice at all won't be eating there again will choose somewhere else also I ordered a starter it came at the same time as my main meal so my main meal was warm when I got to eat it not good , the drinks are good and seating ,plenty of room has we had a wheelchair has well but food not good tho

Saturday evening. The food was nice but overpriced. We were sat by the front door, so everyone that came through left the door open, it started to get a bit chilly. I spent more time getting up and dow to close the door.The restaurant stank of fried chips. My hair, clothes reeked of fried food. And also my coat which cannot be washed, so ended up spending almost £20 on amazon on deodorisers and clothes freshner when i got home.
