Been visiting on and off for over a year and the quality is very very variable when you visit. Staff are always very friendly but the quality of the chips varies from going straight in the bin to being 5* really delicious.Lunchtime specials are good value, but the really variable quality of the food does let the place down.Reasonably priced, but is a very hit and miss the experience and personally had a 50/50 rate of good/bad when going.Can't really recommend as a place to visit, more of an if you're the area and feeling lucky then give it a try

Made a order by phone. Mixed order up three portions of fish and chips wrapped up and sat on side while other portion was cooked which was gluten free. By the time the time food was ready and took home first three portions were pretty rough !. Very disappointing. Went there especially for the Gluten Free. Never again .

Ordered through Uber and the food was piping hot on delivery. We had rock, cod and chips and the fish was huuuge and very well cooked. Clean plates all round, tummy rubbing tasty. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys ☺️ sorry no pictures we just got stuck in ?

Absolutely fantastic fish & chip shop, can not rate it highly enough, good price, excellent quality food, and the manager is awesome. Next time I'm down that way, which is quite a lot, I'll go out of my way to go again.
Ordered food on the morning of 30/09/23 three large cod, two regular chips. Paid by card. Full delivery at 16.15 to 16.45.By 16.55 I had to telephone them and asked them where my order was, They weren’t concerned, they just said it’s cooked fresh. On arrival at 17:00 opened the package to find what to me. Look like three medium size cod they were very small and overcooked and dry. The only good thing about the meal were the chips. Sorry I couldn’t write you any higher very disappointed.

Very disappointed twice now.The medium cod is half the size it used to be and the chips were lukewarm. All for a higher price.All very disappointing as our local chippy. We won't be using again.
