Food is top-notch fantastic cafe the waitresses are very complacent and been there a long time you take your life in your hands one day they are nice the next day they are miserable not happy at all just ok and goodbye my mum is in a care home in Clacton and I visit once a week a news Davies as the food is nice but staff not so good

Had the Eggs Royale. Asked if it came with muffins was told yes. Turned out to be un toasted bap, over cooked eggs and disguised with hollandaise sauce. Shame because nice people and atmosphere

WE HAVE BEEN GOING TO DAVEY'S RESTAURANT FOR 16YRS ,MY PARENT'S LOVED COMING HERE. ITS FAMILY RUN .THE ATMOSPHERE IS LOVELY. THE FOOD IS FIRST RATE 10/10.WE WENT THERE LAST WEEK, I HAD ROAST CHICKEN DINNER, IT WAS SO BIG, I COULD ONLY EAT HALF OF IT .PRICES ARE EXCELLENT AS WELL.ITS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN CLACTON.DINE IN OR TAKE AWAY ,YOU WILL LOVE IT, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED .KIND REGARDS.JACQUI & COLIN X
