Has been a while since we have order from here when it first opened it was great but this time not great. rice was bland and undercooked the onion rings looked like they was cooked in old oil. The meat didn't taste great.Hopefully it just just a one off as we have had good food from here before but this time I think maybe the last time I order.

The best takeaway in clacton every thing is explained the prices are excellent for the food as its freshly cooked whilst you wait the staff are very friendly there is nothing negative to say about this

Three hours after ordering on a Saturday evening resulted in no food arriving with extremely pathetic excuses from staff. EFES has lost a good customer, worst ever experince in my 12 years in Clacton.

First time ordering a £45 family meal as we’re new to the area. Food was not great, all meat had a funny taste to it. White rice was hard and unflavoured; we wasnt given cous cous. The fries were either over cooked or had been sitting for a while. The pitabread, salad, and sauces were the best part of the meal. Overall the food had no seasoning and flavour. Ordered through uber eats and it took over an hour to arrive. Portions were also small. Maybe they aren’t used to big orders as I would love to give this place a second chance

Ordered delivery for a treat, special for 2-3, arrived very fast.However, only one lamb chop. Lots of bones with not much meat on them. Rice was fine. Couscous was very nice. Ordered side of flatbread, very good sized portion and delicious.Realistically though it was not worth £45.If I had ordered tandoori mixed grill from an Indian takeaway I could have had 4 portions for that price and there would have been a lot more meat.Don't get me wrong it was quite nice and most of it was tasty and enjoyable. But I don't think I will be buying this dish again.

Food is prepared on the premises and is always fresh and hot when delivered...amazing food, you will not be disappointed.

Sadly tonight’s dinner was late arriving (10 minutes) and everything was cold, chips were overcooked (dark brown).Shame I always order from here & have never before now had any issues ?
