Disappointing meal. Although the top pastry of the minced beef pie was warm the filling and the pastry case was stone cold. As was the halloumi in the wrap.The chips, however, were lovely and not greasy at all.

Have ordered delivery from here and also picked up 5 portions of fish and chips for the ladies in my mum's ward in Clacton hospital. It was so good that even the nurses was asking where I got it from. Highly recommended for good service, great food and a fair price.
Eat here every time we visit, freshly cooked items and friendly staff.

M&A fish bar AVOID THEM, Complained via delivery foodhub took ages for call back Owner was RUDE. He said do not use us again I don't want your business he then started to swear and said "don't beep beep use us again" this was the owner not an employee we asked if new ownership as food quality was bad cold dry ended up £15 in the bin. If you are looking for fish & chip shop. I would say avoid M&A These new owners don't care about customers, only care about money not returning customers. Used them for years and in last three months we have had two issues one no food delivered but internet money transfer still taken. And tonight was like they had re-fried chicken 2 or 3 times as it was so dry like eating cardboard. Main thing the manager does not care and swares over the phone at us the customers. Said don't order from us again.

M & A are rated the best Fish and Chip shop in Clacton, they prove this time and time again. Fish cooked so well, covered in a rich tasty batter and always plenty of chips. The staff are great too, they are so pleased to see each and every customer.

I love this fish and chip shop, love the staff, great customer service, happy cheerful staff. Food portions are very generous and a nice peaceful atmosphere, is tucked away down a side street. 10 min walk from seafront very reasonable price too. Great value for moneyKid-friendliness: Kid friendly.Parking: Street parking, not sure if you have to pay.

I ordered a fish and chip takeaway lunch time today the fish and chips were absolutely delicious and the staff amazing. The female staff member was just so kind bringing our order out to the car as my mother is disabled and I didn’t want to leave her outside on her own. The service was perfect and we had the best lunch ever as we pulled in opposite the sea. Thank you for making our day a special one and your fish and chips delicious. I will be back soon and thoroughly recommend you eat here. X
