I had a breakfast sandwich with hash browns and it was really good. Also tried their chicken Big Mac but I’ve had better chicken sandwiches. Fish sandwich had a lot of tartar sauce which I appreciate ?also, the seasonal hot chocolate is amazing.

Avoid the kiosks! They rarely print receipts, which means you can't fill out the survey and get money off your next meal. Aside from that, it's a really good restaurant. Lots of floor space, lots of places to sit upstairs, clean toilets, friendly staff and a great location.

Tried to order via the app, travelled about 15 mins. On arrival I marked myself as there but then the app said it couldn't send my order.I showed the staff and they had to type a code in so it would pull my order up but that didn't work. So I decided to just reorder for a kiosk and reorder.Service was ok and the staff were busy but that meant less staff were there to engage with customers. The service was quick in relation to when I placed the order.I don't use McDonalds a lot so I can't compare it to many visits I've had but the restaurant felt empty, there were more deliveroo & just eat drivers picking up orders than physical customers.

Nice food but I always make a point of no cheese . 9 times out of 10 it comes with cheese . Now while I'm waiting for what I ask for my chips get cold . This happens in many branches .

Edited this review 15th September 2023.Removed the stars as this place is just awful.We ordered 2 coffees and a portion of fries. This took 8 minutes to do. Well I say 8 minutes because as the staff seem to think it's a social club. Whilst you're patience is tested the staff are talking, laughing etc. What they're not doing is providing hot food quickly or cleaning tables. Most of the staff look as if they've slept in their uniform. Management here should just spend a short time observing their staff and discipline where necessary.Last few times of stopping here have been extremely disappointing to say the least. It is almost always filthy and staffed by people who I can only explain as seemingly on community service due to court order. Not a single one acts as though they want to be there. We sat upstairs and watched one young kid taking 20 minutes to clean the area without actually doing anything! The photos show what was on the floor for the entire 40 minutes we were there. The toilets were filth themselves but as many many people treat it as public toilets it would need clearing every 20 minutes. The food was average at best and not particularly hot. This place has done a lot better and to be fair was quite busy but nowhere near summer season busy. Come on guys you CAN do better.

Having forgotten a £2.20 chocolate brownie in my last order, I was told no problem call us when you've ordered and we will make sure it comes with this order...WELL THIS ORDER WHERE DO I START...No Brownie, the delivery driver did not ring No.10 clearly stated on my order, he instead woke up my neighbour and eventually came up after me saying twice top floor. He was unapologetic, when I checked my order it was stone cold, the burgers look like were put together like a blind person & when I asked if he could double check incase the missing brownie was in the bag separately he just said no.So from the saver menu I had 1 x cheeseburger, 1 bacon mayo, 1 small fries, this totalled £9.56 because the delivery for a 4 minute journey of under a mile is £3.99.Now Clacton on Sea Pier Avenue manager will NOT answer the phone.I don't have a lot of money therefore this was supposed to be a treat, but once again inedible food and disgraceful service.

I recently visited the McDonald's in Clacton town centre and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was of a high quality. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I was also pleased to see that they offer a wide selection of menu items, including vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are reasonable, and the food arrived quickly. All in all, I would highly recommend the McDonald's in Clacton town centre for a quick and enjoyable meal.
I ordered a milkshake using one of the kiosks, almost immediately my number came up on the board as ready to collect. The whole place was in chaos with staff wandering around looking lost and delivery drivers leaning over the counter helping themselves to whatever orders they wanted! After waiting around 10 minutes for my number to be called, I approached the counter and spoke to a bearded man who looked like he might be a supervisor or manager. I told him I'd been waiting for quite a while for one milkshake and as I spoke I spotted it sitting on top of the receipt with my number on. I pointed it out and the man told me that my number must have been called. As I don't make a habit of spending time waiting for something unnecessarily I told him it hadn't. He dumped my milkshake on the counter and walked away!

toilets no soap well dry so long time no avaible in this days with covid and lot of tourist as is clacton on sea should be on top....also plaice very shaby inside need a revamp

It was busy when I ordered but there were no issues. Not a bad branch, it's a shame about all the antisocial behaviour warnings everywhere. I'm guessing it gets a bit hairy at times!

Refused to give me butter with my meal I se butter on my hash browns they told me I'm not aloud to I requested a refund and will not be returning I went here most morning with no issues won't step foot in the place
