Placed online order as it stated is was open till half 2 to my receipt says order placed 12.58pm no contact no food money been taking hope to get a response when it opens later...... 6:15pm the food came not happy with service but the food was 10/10 I cannot lie.

Booked for Boxing Day with family. Service was great. Dishes were spicy even though we ordered mild.

Haven't been here for ages won't be going back...staff were rude.was told too hurry up and order because thay were busy with takeaways yet restaurant was near empty.and we had to pass our food along cause thay couldnt be bothered to walk round the table..the nans were burnt had to send back and the replacement was undercooked..lamb was burnt..2 of our 9 party were ill an hour afterwards...worst place ever now..

Ordered a butter chicken and it came with cashews, almonds and sultanas. I don't know of any other Indian restaurant that puts this in a butter chicken. I checked their menu, no mention of adding this at all.The owner (I'm guessing) argued with me about it and then said it was the "chef's special". I don't care what the chef's special is, I ordered something which is a set dish. Just wondering how things would have been different if I had an allergy.Also I had been here twice before and there was none of this nonsense in the butter chicken.I got it taken off the bill in the end. AVOID and go to the other Indian round the corner, its much better.

We had a lovely meal at Regency Cottage. We had Poppadums with all the dips, Chicken Tikka Masala, Prawn Tikka Masala, Pilar Rice and Plain Naan Bread. Great food and great service.

Good evening,Sadly I have to say I’m very disappointed with our food tonight!It arrive cold! Which is not great a start!I was missing the vegetable curry that is ment to come with the chicken tikka biryani,So that was dry as anything!The chicken inside the biryani was half cook some bits still frozen! which resulted of it ending up in the bin!!!The salad that came with the food was an absolute joke!Hardly any in the pot and what was there was very dry even the lemon was shrivelled up from being so dry!Absolute joke considering you wait well over an hour for the food to come!Not very happy considering the meal cost nearly £50!!!We have been using regency cottage for years and have never had a bed meal before I’m very disappointed and I expect to get some money back !Regards
The food was all very fresh and tasty. The Hyderabad Chicken curry was delicious as was the onion bhaji and Brinjal bhaji. Staff all friendly and helpful.

All of the food was lovely, very tasty. Unfortunately, the waitress was miserable and rude. Everything was too much trouble, including bagging items to take home. The take away carton was flung on the table for us to do ourselves! Never been asked to do that anywhere, usually goes back to the kitchen? Spoilt the evening, won’t be going back.

Nice good Indian restaurant, lovely food and nice polite staff definitely a go to when in the area and it's reasonably priced especially on the set menu.

We have visited restaurant on several occasions and have had lovely meals here. However on Sunday we walked into the restaurant and was greeted with a very rude member of staff The restaurant was empty apart from one couple So we asked him if he had a table for two He said have you booked we said no He pointed over to the corner of the restaurant which was a really confined space and as it was a very hot evening we asked if we could sit in the main part of the restaurant which was a lot cooler The waiter then replied whilst pointing to the corner you sit there very aggressively. We declined and walked out None of the staff had greeted us when we entered just looked at us when we walked in We have used this restaurant for several years But never again

Food as always is very good here but the time from ordering to eating is far too long. Delivery is always 90mins and pick up is around 50mins. It just feels excessive. We still order and just make allowances and we won’t stop ordering as the food is always nice.
