The fish was slightly overcooked, which left it dry and not very flakey, the chips were well cooked in clean oil and didn't have the usual old oil taste you get from some places. It needs to be better quality fish and batter at the price point for the restaurant although for take away it's good enough and a fair price.for what you get. Portion sizes are decent

I feel like I’ve been scammed. Sad to say.Shop was dead paid £8 for donor meat & chips. Fair enough but the chips were like cardboard and old!Why do people think they can get away with it serving poor quality food to hard-working people. This was my one day off the week and decided to treat myself, wish I hadn’t bothered now.Donor meat was ok, for me it’s disrespectful to the customer.Poor service, never again

Food was great , mixed kebab is a winner. Sadly it was extremely busy so a long wait ( goes to show people love it) the young lady serving was friendly, polite and extremely good. Honestly i recommend the place , sometimes the wait it worth it .. definitely in this case.

We found this place on the Internet so we gave it a try only to find we was not disappointed with the place it was very clean and tidy all the staff was friendly the food was freshly cooked and very good portions
I ordered Fish n Chips from here recently and all seemed ok, when I got home it changed the fish although tasty was very very greasy, the chips again although plentiful seemed very dark I actually thought they had been fried twice the curry sauce was very watery and bland too. Sadly I don’t think I will be returning here any time soon.

Had large middle of cod and chips, very nice people, cod was nice size, when you ask for lardge you get lardge, and cooked perfectly, chips were just right too , this will be my regular fish shop now instead of the fish inn?? Chris.
