lovely polite staff.been going to skinners for about 5yrs now.would recommed.it very tasty fish n chips.well worth the money.best of all thay do chunky chips.not them skinny fries you get ealse where.

I had cod & chips & my husband had plaice & chips the chips were awful like cardboard & the plaice was so over cooked all dried up, should not be happening people should know how to cook fish when its so expensive, not best pleased won't be returning !!!!

The service is nice and their fish'n'chips is decent, but please note you can only seat outdoors or take the food away - there are no tables inside this café.

Waited 40 minutes in the shop for my food after they told me it’ll only be 10mins.Messed up my order after repeating many times I wanted a skinless cod. When I arrived they tried to give me a normal one untill I realised.Massive ques. Poor girl at the front was giving away drinks as people were complaining.

Some of the best fish and chips we've had in a long time! Shame Nottingham is too far otherwise we'd be back! We visited while holidaying at a Haven site. The food was worth the 25 minute drive and wait for it to be cooked.Ifs nice to see a fish and chip shop offering other fish other than cod and haddock. My family enjoyed the squid, rock fish. Highly recommend!

Moved to Holland on sea 2.1/2 years ago tried other fish shops but Skinners is definitely the best,always fresh and beautifuly cooked,highly recommend.

Stopped here after visiting friends, and I must say I am glad we did. Although we had to wait quite a while, as this place seemed to be extremely popular, the que was huge, anyway the staff were fantastic chatty and fast at taking an order.We then waited for our hood to be cooked. I have got to say this is by far the best fish and chips me and my wife have ever had. ?So much so that we plan to go back just for some more fish and chips.I do really hope that when we find time to drive back down, the food is just as good.. we will be back to let you know.
