We own a caravan on a local site and had some friends come to celebrate our sons birthday for the weekend and we enquired here about a booking on a Friday evening for 15 of us which was no trouble to them at all. We all ate and the food was delicious, piping hot and the service was excellent, we enjoyed the food so much that we actually booked to come back on the Sunday for a roast which also did not disappoint. The landlord, his wife and the whole team were so welcoming to us and couldn’t do enough to make us feel so welcome. They have a great selection of well kept beers and sprits, something to suit all of our party. We will definitely be back soon.Parking: There is a car park located at the side of the pub but if this is full there is also lots of parking on the roadKid-friendliness: We had two children with us and they were made to feel welcome too.

The Red Lion ,st Osythwas recommended by a local pub that didn't do Sunday lunch, they said it was amazing and they were not wrong, we arrived at 3pm and where shown to our table, the place was busy and we expected a bit of a wait for our food, once ordered our food came to the table in 5 minutes, piping hot and plenty of it, the atmosphere was great and so were the staff, who stopped at nothing to make our meal and time there as enjoyable as possible, thank you guys we had a great time and we will see you again soon.

After reading other positive reviews we decided to pop in for dinner on our way back to holiday accommodation. Welcomed by extremely pleasent and friendly staff, given various options as to where to sit , we chose the bar area because being only 5pm the restaurant was empty, chose the tempura prawns with chilli dip for the starter, main course was the lasagna for me and jacket potato with prawns for my wife, both meals very enjoyable, I would highly recommend this place if you're passing, especially with the early evening entertainment in the bar!
