Cafe Med is a lovely establishment! The staff are friendly and Semra is an absolutely wonderful host. Went here recently as a group of 8 for Mother's day and the mezze spreads were amazing (along with the Baklava?). They were very accomodating for the little ones and brought out their food first as requested. Highly recommendable.

My husband and I with two of our children thought we would try here for lunch have only had only popped in for coffee on previous time and that was really lovely, today we all chose to have bacon and bacon with halloumi sandwiches, which came with hummus, dressed salad and crisps, these were very well presented and so tasty, we all really enjoyed our food, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, this place has a lovely feel to it, so are looking forward to returning to try other dishes.

Good quality Greek food, although I had hoped for fresh figs in the fig and goats cheese salad, the dried figs were nice enough. My boyfriend enjoyed his stew but had hoped for more meat in the little dish. The little garden is cute.

Wonderful staff, always a lovely welcome and the food is homecooked to perfection. The ambience is relaxing and the invitation only evening are not to be missed. Highly recommended ?Vegetarian options: I know that there are vegetarian options but haven't personally had them.Parking: Quite a few nearby parking but don't know prices

Took my wife on a dinner/date night, Highly recommend It's beautiful-peaceful and relaxing in a great location in the town centre. The restaurant was exceptional along with the host/waitress we had the best homemade Mediterranean/Turkish dishes I've ever taste.Thanks we'll be back soon.... .

Cafe med put on the most wonderful 3 course dinner last night for our private work party (16 of us). Stunning sharing platters, the meat was divine! As was the pudding. Staff are brilliant. A must visit in the centre of Colchester. Welcoming and comfortable cafe, you will not be disappointed.
One of our favourite go to, for lunch and their fun supper nights! Cafe Med serves up the most authentic and delicious mediterranean dishes, I've ever had! My fave is halloumi, beef sausage and the mezze platter, which has a generous range of different mezzes.And the owners and staff members are so friendly and sweet. Great service and atmosphere.

I went on the strength of the reviews.Sat outside quick service, a bit dissappointed they didn't have tanzikie.Very nice dressing on the side salad.Defo recommend and have a main meal in the future.
