I treated a friend recently for her birthday and the meal was quite enjoyable. We shared the vegetable platter for two as a starter. For the entrées, my friend ordered a salmon dish and vegetable side while I ordered the lamb bhuna and basmati mushroom rice. We both ordered the garlic naan bread.

What made the evening extra special was that the staff gave my friend an extra large Cadbury chocolate bar as her birthday gift.

I don’t often leave reviews, but this one is deserved.

We had an amazing night at Pavilion, and a huge part of that was Sonia. She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The music was so cool, the table service was spot on, and her energy was just unreal.

She genuinely lifted the vibe of our table — we were on a double date and all four of us said the exact same thing afterwards. Her presence, attitude and attention made the whole night feel special, not forced or scripted, just good fun with great music and great service.

Honestly, Sonia made the experience. If you’re coming here for a night out, you’re lucky if she’s hosting your table. We’ll definitely be back

Wow, our dinner tonight was absolutely flawless. Arancini + Haddock Fritters followed by Filet of Beef by everyone in our party. Our only complaint was that two meager slices of filet is very scant for £30+, even for a gourmet gastropub. Nevertheless, we will definitely be back! It's wonderful to see an independent, ambitious restaurant like this flourishing.

Dined here whilst on holiday and will definitely be returning the staff are attentive and will give genuine recommendations. The food was incredible we had starters , mains and desserts all where fantastic. Price is a little bit higher than what you would pay in the surrounding area but is well worth the money I would highly recommend trying this place out.

A night out with friends and we weren't disappointed!. If your looking for great food this is the place. Two of us had sirloins which were cooked to perfection and my friend had swordfish which she said was as good if not better than any she's had abroad. Servive impeccable, really look after you, such a nice change from the usual. We weren't rushed and the prosecco and wine was quality also. We ate and drank had a wonderful evening and it didn't break the bank, thank you to Bella pais and staff for making our evening so memorable, we shall definitely return?

This is a seriously hidden gem!
You come out the back of the NCP and you are on top of this amazing venue.
You soon realise that there are three staff, chef, a sous and the front of house staff member. There are around 18-20 covers and its a well appointed venue with comfortable seating.
The greeting and service were very friendly and informative. Each course was quite subtle in flavour and stunningly presented. The flavours were superb and beautifully balanced too.
Its a great experience worth the hours drive In each direction.
I strongly recommend this restaurant. Do try the 7 course taster menu. Its great value and really tasty.
My highlight was going to be the pork and then came along the yuzu and I was totally SOLD!
Had a great chat to chef, what a nice guy really committed to his art!
Nice clean toilets upstairs.

We enjoyed a lovely time here together. We had chosen as dog friendly, it certainly met that expectation. Staff were all super friendly. There was a bit of a wait between starters and mains, but this suited us, but, a guy came out to us to apologise for the wait. The food was very good on the whole, but a couple were found to be not very hot. This was a shame, as most were excellent, maybe a timing factor to get all meals out at same time.

We had lunch here on a Saturday. This restaurant has great decor, almost feels like an Italian restaurant you’d expect to experience in Italy. The service was 10/10. Very attentive staff. All three courses came out in a decent time, piping hot food and very tasty. The mussels were so fresh ! The calzone was amazing also. Far better than the “mainstream” Italian restaurants in town.

Exceptional cafe/ restaurant.
Owner and full time staff are very friendly, and cook fresh dishes as ordered. Portions are very generous and food quality is very good indeed. Prices are most reasonable and they make excellent hot drinks. Coffee is far superior to the chains and most other places.Jenkins is always spotless and very well maintained throughout.
Service is really excellent and so welcoming and friendly too.
The regulars are also very nice too.
Could not ask for a better cafe to eat at. Anyone not eating here is seriously missing out. Do go if you've not tried it as yet.
