Great place to go for a cold pasty! Seriously? And be treated like you’re an interruption into their day! I am sick of places like this selling cold food, and don’t ask for one from the window you won’t get it!

Always friendly staff and service.

Rude. Went in to order 3 Cornish pasty’s, asked politely if I could have the one at the front in the window, was scoffed at and sharply told they are all the same accompanied with an eye roll and a strop. For over £6 a pasty, I’m sure it’s not bad to ask for what you want. Plus They weren’t the same, the ones in the window weren’t half as dark/burnt as the ones inside.Needless to say we took our business elsewhere to a friendlier establishment!

Won't use again. Tepid pasty with hard crust. Ended up binning most of it. Waste of money.

Clearly this place don’t know the rules of fist come first serve. Came in today, looking at the food being the first customer there, the ladies behind counter decided to serve the older ladies behind me although I was there first and ready to order - not to mention I was there for moments so not like I was taking the mick with being long- didn’t even ask if that was okay. Seems very ageism to me and I’m sure they wouldn’t serve me first if it was the other way around. I ended up leaving and ain’t never going back. I love their food and been going for ages but no more, I won’t be supporting chains that employ people who have no basic customer service skills. 17/12 between 1pm and 2pm

Came in this morning served by Susan ordered a lucozade and a sausage bap, Susan made it for me and gave it to me had no issues and as I left and opened the bag it had bacon (which I don’t eat) not sausage- simple mistake were human but I went back explained I asked for sausage and Susan called me a liar and instead of just apologising and changing it she wanted a row saying I was wrong. This has happened multiple times with Susan getting my order wrong and I’ve let it side but something I don’t eat I needed changed and instead I just got verbal rudeness. So I walked out and didn’t have my order changed. Rude service been going in there for years but won’t be returning. Awful customer service.

One rude Scottish woman behind the counter would not change my pasty that was supposed to be a steak and ale pasty. I bit into it twice and found it was virtually all potatoes, so expecting some steak and some ale flavour gravy in it, i complained that this was sold to me under a miss description and asked for my money back !The rude lady said “certainly not you’ve gnawed into it”, unbelievable attitude for front of house.

Just been in there for the first time and two lovely ladies in there very welcoming . I Ordered a chicken and bacon panini and some cake. And it was amazing. Can’t wait to go back and have some of those fresh cooked in house pasties.????

Been a customer here for years, so much so that usually one of the ladies here always remembers my husband's preferences better than me !The vegan sausage rolls are the very best !! So delicious you wouldn't know the meat was missing ?They will also sell you frozen pasties or sausage rolls if you need to keep them a bit longer ready to bake when you want them.Great service, tasty food, good prices.
Sausage rolls are OK if you're at deaths door, jalfrezi bakes were more pastry than filling and the brownies were dry. This is the 2nd bad experience in a short period of time. Its convenient if anything, used to be much nicer quality. Would visit again if the standards were upped.
