The staff are nice and friendly. The drinks are lovely and their food is mouthwatering

Came in with family today and ordered drinks and tried to pay with a £50. Staff member serving us was very friendly but had to ask manager if she could accept the £50. Manager looks at the £50, and said no it's fake, handed it back and walked away. I called her back and asked why she thought that, her reason was the queen's head hologram was the wrong way round??? This all done all very publicly making us feel like criminals. I paid for the drinks on my card. I have since taken that note to a bank (Metrobank) who have confirmed the validity of it. I would advise that particular manager gets retrained on how to identify fake currency as she clearly is not the currency expert she thinks she is , and also how to exercise discretion and how to treat customers.

Standard Costa menu and offer. Clean and tidy; queue short at 1030am. A few tables available - more outside but it was snowing! Not much Gluten- free offer; not many tables inside considering it is a town centre location.

Staff was friendly and mac and cheese was lovely and enjoyed my latte. But due to staff shortage the staff was busy serving and trays were stacking up so nor a lot of places to sit without moving someone else before stuff

Couldn’t fault all but one member of staff.Just been to this branch to purchase two drinks and was served by the LOVELY man who has served us before. I’m sorry I don’t know his name but he has blondish hair and a slight accent (so sorry I wasn’t able to find out where he was from). however! The woman who appeared to be “leading” the day (maybe a supervisor)… well… Vile isn’t the word for her. The way she spoke to the staff in front of so many customers was shocking! The gentleman was confirming with a lady what drink she would like and this worker stormed over, interrupted both him and the customer! Before angrily snapping “stop having so much conversation, that’s why you aren't getting through the queue quick enough” she shouted several comments towards him throughout my 5 minutes in the store (I wouldn’t even call that a long wait). Both workers were running about doing what they could and all she seemed to be doing was dictating with her phone hanging out her pocket and made probably 3 drinks whilst I was there.The service from this man was amazing (he wasn’t even “chatting” he was just friendly as he took orders, as he always is when we visit!) but her attitude made me actually feel uncomfortable.Coming from somebody who went into an old job wanting to work my way up with optimism, I can tell you how leadership like this changes your outlook and drives you to just walk away!Clearly more management and people skills training is needed for her!
Best costa in the town. They serve a variety of drinks and the staffs were customer friendly. I went on my birthday and I was surprised to get a cake free of cost and the cake was fantastic. Great place to have a good time with family and friends. Definitely would recommend this place.

Ok had difficulty getting in with a wheelchair, having to negotiate between tables. Also the door to the disabled toilet was a nightmare as it opened outwards and was very stiff

Super friendly staff and when I couldn't decide on which flavour of candy that I wanted to pair with my drink, they gave me one of each. They were helpful and made drink suggestions . The drinks were perfect and the snacks were better.

Went here one time with my son, the young lady staff looks very unpleasant, I said thank you after she took my order, she just ignored me, wasnt smiling at all, she seems having a bad day, but God knows what shes going thru so I wouldnt name her.. Anyway, the other staff with her named Locke was very calm and very professional. The other time I went Locke took my order, very polite and just.... calm... ?
