Growing up in greenstead has meant that the local chippy has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, even now my dad when he visits wants to get fish and chips from here and has been known on a couple of occasions has used visiting me as an excuse to go to the chippy that is a 5 minute walk from my home, for my family greenstead fish and chips do the best chips in Colchester xxx

Used this place for the first time and would highly recommend. I ordered sausage in batter, which is the best I've ever had. The batter was light, fluffy and the sausage cooked perfectly. The chips were freshly cooked, not reheated and really moist and fluffy. Thank you to the friendly staff and of course the cook for a yummy meal. We will definitely see you again ?
