Absolutely disgusted with the way the staff addressed themselves today. I spoke to a lady behind the counter after spending £15 between myself and my partner about my bean cheese and sausage pastry being cold she informed me they aren’t served hot only cooked and stored which made sense as to why the prices are so reasonable because they do not need the licensing to serve hot food. I asked for a steak bake instead as it was warmer. She then proceeded to give me chicken which I didn’t know until I bit into it. I then went up and payed for a steak bake, as I didn’t want to expect another one for free as that just seemed rude and indecent. I then spent the rest of my time there being gawped at openly spoken about. “Apparently I gave her chicken and she wanted steak” this was not the only thing said about me only what I clearly remember they were laughing at me Staff whispering about me with there face covered. I was very uncomfortable and extremely angry at how unprofessional it all was. The lady who was serving me then disappeared when I said out loud how it’s rude to slag of customers and to atleast wait till I’d left the store. She had a friend waiting for her to finish who kept getting involved and went over to the payment side of the counter to engage in even more unprofessional behaviour slagging me off to other members of staff who also engaged in this behaviour . This was all extremely apparent and the staff in this store behaved absolutely disgustingly. I would appreciate the store manager taking this seriously and reviewing any CCTV as it will clearly show there immature and unprofessional demeanour. I will never visit this store again. This has hugely effected my already diagnosed mental health conditions and cause a massive shift in personality meaning I spent the rest of my day dissociating and very irate. If I do not hear back in 5-7 working days I will take this further!

Competitive. OK for takeaways, but too small for dining.

I love this Greggs so much! It's the best place to get a delicious pastry, a hot drink, and a friendly smile. The staff are always helpful and cheerful, and they make you feel welcome. The food is fresh and tasty, and there's a great variety to choose from. Whether you want a sausage roll, a steak bake, a cheese and onion pasty, or a vegan option, they have it all. And don't get me started on the sweet treats! The doughnuts, the cookies, the cakes, the muffins...they're all divine. I always treat myself to something when I visit this Greggs. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the quality is superb. This Greggs is my favourite spot to grab a bite, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food and good service.
