Good food, but was cold when we got there and we reordered to find out they didn't have what I wanted when we arrived.

Popped in for a casual lunch. Chose from the set menu. Portions on the small side but both starters were tasty. We had chips with our mains and these were far too overcooked. Not really much potato in the middle - just crispy outers! Burger was a bit burnt too. Felt like kitchen staff not really caring much about the food they were serving. Coffee could have been hotter. Front of house service good. Haven’t eaten here for a couple of years. Perhaps we caught it on a bad day but mains were disappointing.

Really lovely meals and great service can’t fault it, dined here Saturday evening was really welcoming and warm, kind atmosphere, looking forward to going againParking: Parked round the back in the car park paid parking not too expensive £4.90 for two hours

It's okay but somewhat over-rated in my view. Food is pleasant enough but nothing special to elevate it into a finer dining experience. They are not particularly cheap and drinks and added sides push up the bill. Staff are very pleasant however though they are a bit rushed on busy nights. It's a popular choice for date nights and birthdays but for me, Miller and Carter and Bella Pais, for example provide a much better experience if you want a meat and steak related menu .

Excellent food I had a range of starters, the chateaubriand and a wide variety of desserts. The steak was excellent and cooked as wanted. The sauces were divine and would highly recommend the peppercorn sauce. The only let down was wait times but the overall service was amazing.Kid-friendliness: Had a 7 year old with us at the table and they were treated nicely and asked what they wanted and made to feel included by staff. Also fun menu with things to keep a child occupied.

The food was really nice but quite pricey. Unfortunately the service was not great. Staff are very friendly and kind but the wait time for anything was very long. They were busy but lots of staff around not doing alot.

We came for the bottomless brunch and it was great. We were served by Emese who was great, fast service and was always checking in.
Saturday night, very busy, attentive waiters, food not so great. Scampi and chips very overpriced for what you get.Lovely honeycomb cheesecake though.Friend liked his mixed grill, but pricey for what it is.

Excellent food The steaks were really lovely We went out for my grandsons 18th birthday which was arranged at the last minute . The staff were really helpful and friendly . Prompt service . The only disadvantage I would say that’s it’s not very warm in there but under the current climate we are in I suppose it’s down to cost

We had booked our table weeks in advance so were quite surprised to find that the roasts had already sold out. This meant we had to order from the more expensive a la carte menu not the Sunday menu we had planned to order from. The prices were extortionate particularly as you only get one side with the meals. We ordered extra sides which were expensive and definitely not value for money as they were so small. Some of the food was cold.We had to wait so long for drinks that we went to the bar ourselves. The waiter started clearing away our plates and then left the rest. We waited about 25 minutes to order dessert and to get our bill.We went here a few years ago and had to complain about similar things then and got a voucher. We had hoped things would improve but if anything, they’ve got worse and it is not value for money. We won’t ever be back.
