Just had a papa johns pizza for the first time, as it was recommended to be better than dominos... And let me tell you, It's the WORST fu#king pizza I've ever had in my whole life. It had next to NO SAUCE on the BASE, it was DRY and had like a TINY sprinkle of cheese and hardly any toppings and was like cardboard.... Also, I watched the app and it was cooked within less than 5 minutes, that is a clear indicator that it was not made fresh to order. Very bare edges next to the crust too.... Even a cold Dominos pizza on a bad day is ten times better.

This is rated with the take-away equivalents and not comparable to any restaurant review I've done.Probably more 2.5 stars. As take-away pizza goes it's fairly good (better than Dominos in my opinion). A bit hit and miss on whether you get all your toppings. Had pizza that caused serious indigestion only once. Staff usually pretty friendly.

Severely lacking in topping. Plenty in the centre but bare all around the ouyside. 1 inch of crust, I do not expect topping there but 2-3 inches after that was bare, it was dry and a waste of money. I feel like each slice had 2 good bites and the rest was just base. Threw quite a few large pieces, almost half slices in the bin. We ordered 2 xxl size.

Well it's a takeaway so atmosphere doesn't really come into it but the pizza is better than Domino's.
Only losing one star because there's no parking, as a disabled person I can park on yellow lines for a short while, but don't like doing it.

Papa John's is the best big chain for takeaway vegan pizza. Their vegan sides are especially good too. I've been ordering from them for years and they've not let me down. I'm sure the rest of the range is good too.I've always had good service, food delivery and their tracking app and rewards scheme are really good.Vegetarian options: Their vegan pizzas are the best of any of the main pizza chains. They allow full customisation too which some other places do not.Parking: You won't be able to park nearby for collection because it's residential or disabled street parking only. There is a layby across the road that you can sneak a park in if you want to collect quickly. Saving that you'll only find street parking in the evening (after 6) when the daytime permits expire.
