Peking Palace never fails. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. All of the food has been delicious and the staff are fantastic.We choose to pick up 95% of the time and the food is always ready to collect within 20 minutes. When being delivered, the food arrives within the hour.This is a cash only establishment so make sure you're prepared.

Placed an order on Christmas Eve at 21:49 for delivery. Food was never delivered nor did we receive a call saying it would not be delivered. Tried to call the takeaway to ask where our food was and no reply then the venue closed. All other takeaways had closed by this point so waited up late to have beans on toast. Merry Christmas. Poor service. Needs training on customer service.

Have since travelled the 25 min trip to collect as worth it! By far the best Chinese takeaway in Colchester. Always very friendly and polite on the phone, quick for collection and will always try their best for a fast delivery, with nice drivers too. If you want a good Chinese meal then defiantly go here.Vegetarian options: Plenty to chose from

Wow! 5 dishes each more exquisite than the next! The lovely Chinese woman who served us was just as sweet and lovely as the food! The kung pao chicken was the best dish I've ever eaten at any Chinese in my life. I'll definitely be going back tomorrow
