I called at this service station for fuel in June, filled up, went inside to pay, and to buy a couple of packets of crisps. I paid, went back to the car, and after a few minutes discussion with my wife about the next steps of our drive (we were on a car club outing) drove off.Two months later, I have received a letter from ForecourtEye, suggesting that I had "forgotten to pay" for my fuel and had been classified as a drive off by Shell Sextons. I must pay for the fuel, and a surcharge of £60, or £30 if paid within 14 days.I called ForecourtEye and was told that presumably my payment had not gone through, so the garage had classed me as a drive off. I am incensed - if the payment had not gone through, the cashier had plenty of opportunity to ask me to make the payment again, as I didn't sprint out of the door and take off like a scalded cat. Or, the garage could have got my details and contacted me to explain, apologise for their technical issue, and request payment which I would of course have been more than happy to make (Having checked my bank statement I can see that no payment went through on the day).Instead, I have received a distressing letter, and have paid an additional £30 for the privilege of fuelling up at Shell Sextons. I won't be stopping there again.UPDATE: Two weeks later, despite Shell commenting that they have notified the owner, and me writing to the manager at the garage to request a refund of the £30, I have heard nothing from them.

Advertising diesel at £1.83, pump price £1.97 when questioned cashier was told price was not £1.97 but £1.79.

Must be the most expensive petrol station around. No indication they have passed the VAT saving on to customers as other stations in the area are 5 or even 10p a litre less. Crooks.

The girl serving at the counter 'Bliss' was absolutely stunning, was worth going there just to see her! ?

Staff was friendly and helpful, not the kind of service you expect from road side gas station. Please give Archie a raise.
Good one with food on the go and for quick essentials on top of fuel!
James Shortland
Really friendly Staff and a nice little petrol station.

Good petrol station. Restrooms. Car wash if and when it is working. Costa coffee machine and mini shop so you can buy snacks sandwiches and sell assorted alcohol. Petrol prices are usually the same as other petrol stations in the area.
