Had a fantastic evening here with amazing food. There were 14 of us and the staff were very friendly and attentive. It was easy to book via their website and will definitely be coming here again.

Yak and Yeti is a hidden gem in Colchester. Just south of the bus and train station you can experience a lovely dining experience with fantastic food. They even have a full vegan menu for those that need confidence in their food. Would absolutely recommend stepping just outside of the town center for a lovely Nepalese meal.Dietary restrictions: Vegan menu

It is a very nice restaurant for Nepalese & Indian cuisine. Located near to the Colchester Town Station & Bus station has good access to public transportation, it is very spacious, cosy and neatly maintained. Staffs were extremely friendly and provided excellent service. They also serve beer and liquor. We had a good dining experience here. Highly recommend their veg and chicken momos, especially the steamed one.

Late delivery order, food substandard, Jhaneko lamb had an odd taste. So disappointing overall. I will pass from ordering there again.

Disappointed!£20 and you get a small take away pot of what looks like sick!!!!Staff was rude!I dress down when I visit new places to see the reaction! And oh wow how they treat the lower class!I went in to book a night with 20 other people to get the worst hospitality and if a korma looks like this I’d rather cook at home!Shame on them

Got a takeaway from Yak & Yeti. The owner/manager was very welcoming so that was a good start. We ordered a lamb biriyani which was nice. It was slightly too hot for me but that's just personal taste. There was plenty of lamb in the biriyani and the meat was soft and tender. We also ordered some starters which were nice too.

Ordered a takeaway last night, was supposed to be delivered at 8.30 pm arrived 35 minutes later and luke warm. When I phoned them they made a few lame excuses and assured me the driver was in the area which he wasn't. When the food arrived it was mediocre lots of sauce and not much substance. When I have used them before they were OK but probably won't again.
