“Been here a few times and it never disappoints. Food, atmosphere and level of service are always spot on. I always go for whatever curry is on the menu as they are always lovely although the Sunday roasts are amazing too. right down to the vegetables! That said its a very extensive and varied menu there's something.for every palette. Lovely beer garden to sit in if the weather is nice. Highly recommend!”

“We went to G&Ts on the 20th for our work Christmas meal. Then venue is modern, spacious with tables, bar and sofa seating areas. The food. For starters I had potato & leek soup, which was thick creamy and very tasty. The rest of our party had prawn & avocado. The prawns were plump, the sauce thick and everyone was very quiet while eating it. Mains 4 of us went for the turkey roulade with traditional trimmings. It was perfectly cooked and presented. The roast potatoes are probably the best I have ever tasted. My granddaughter had sea bass, which was a very generous portion and melt in your mouth texture. Absolutely delicious! Dessert I had traditional Christmas pudding and cream. A rich, full flavour teaming with fruit, my favourite, and it was decent size portion, served piping hot. 3 had lemon posset which smelt and tasted of lemon zest. Clean and refreshing, it felt like it cleansed the palette. It came with a delicious shortbread. 1 had Bailey’s and white chocolate cheesecake. Any cheesecake with white chocolate and Bailey’s in it is welcome any day of the week. Smooth topped and a beautiful crumble base, truly off the chart. Overall. The service was excellent, polite, attentive and very friendly. Customer service was of the highest priority. The venue comfortably and welcoming. We had a great experience and I highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.”

“Dropped by to pick up something sweet. Got a mini cupcake which was delicious. My app wasn't scanning and the lady was so kind enough to give me a voucher for a free coffee. What a lovely place? No wonder they say that the people makes a place amazing and not only the products.”

“We turned up hoping for food after 8pm. Staff were very welcoming. Food was excellent. I had the home made steak and ale pie, the gravy was thick and rich and the pasty melt in the mouth. Mrs had a steak which was well cooked and the accompaniments were lovely too.
Home made trifle for afters was great too.
Highly recommended.”

“Very enjoyable.
We came here on chance after being turned away from a most unwelcoming place over the road.
A small but adequate menu. Gluten free bread and dairy free milks available.
A very warm welcome.
We'll be back.”

“Lovely dinner with old friends for a special occasion. Service was friendly and efficient, food was good quality and well presented (and generous portions) and once the rowdy table from the earlier sitting had left, the atmosphere was perfect for chatting but with a background hum. Will come again. Booking seems to be by phone or email only which is a but old fashioned but response to my email was prompt.”
