Ashlyns House, 83 Fourth Ave, Frinton-on-SeaYou can not fault this restaurant. If you love tapas, you won't want to go anywhere else.From the greeting and being seated to the finish coffee or dessert, this place is exceptional.A nicely set out menu with specials on the day.All reasonably priced.Booking is essential.Go, you won't regret it.

Ashlyns House, 83 Fourth Ave, Frinton-on-SeaI was staying in Ipswich for a spa break with friend. We had gone into the town for a shopping spree. As we did not know of anywhere to get a good Sunday roast looked on internet and found Stanley's in Frinton on sea. The welcome, food, atmosphere and staff was amazing

Avenue Bistro
145 Connaught Ave, Frinton-on-SeaVisited with three friends on a Friday lunch time whilst we were out on a motorbike ride. We hadn’t booked but the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, found us a table to sit and somewhere for our helmets and stuff to go despite being full of customers. Food was fantastic and really made our day. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Caffe Gloria, 7 Connaught Ave, Frinton-on-SeaWe come here quite a lot as the service is great and the food is fantastic.My Mum and I came in for lunch yesterday and we had the chicken burger and fries, I enjoyed it so much I will definitely be ordering again when we come back in. Wish I had taken a photo, but to be honest I just wanted to get tucked into the bun ?

53 Connaught Ave, Frinton-on-SeaThe Best Fish mongers around! Reasonably priced, (cheaper than London prices) we pesketerisn so we will travel for fresh fish! We stay in Seawick, and Clacton town, don’t mind the drive to Frinton! Fantastic and friendly service, cleaned our bass perfectly! All warm and friendly to all. Definitely return when on our holidays

The starters were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere and music was fab and the decor was gorgeous. Could not recommend this place enough. Will definitely return :)

Phoenix House Chinese Takeaway
105 Pole Barn Ln, Frinton-on-SeaWe ordered a set meal for 2 on a Saturday evening. The lady who took our order was very pleasant and told us to expect delivery in 1 - 1.15 minutes. The meal was delivered in about 45 minutes. The food was excellent - fresh and hot, great flavours and exactly what we ordered. This is a first class Take-Away.

66 Connaught Avenue, Frinton-on-SeaI really love it here (I shouldn't being diabetic), but the staff are normally always happy and helpful, the seating area inside can be a little cramped when it's busy and cold outside but when you can sit inside with a hot cuppa and a sausage roll it's great. Listen out for someone shouting freshly baked it means something is just out the oven.

35 Connaught Ave, Frinton-on-SeaGluten free fish and chips!Prior to finding this restaurant/takeaway we went to ‘young others plaice’ around the corner to be told they only sell gluten free fish and chips on Fridays which is disappointing! However it was the best thing that could have happened as we then stumbled upon this place! So so fresh piping hot, service was amazing and portions were very generous!Dietary restrictions: The staff were very helpful about informing us what was gluten free and that everything free from gluten was cooked separately from gluten products! Writing this the following day and no signs of being cross contaminated!

Regularly use Star of India as a takeaway because everything from the food to person delivering the order is head and shoulders above and beyond any Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at - and this is the standard of their takeaway! I believe the restaurant has been temporarily closed due to covid, and am aware that the local residents are waiting with bated breath for it to re-open... I can understand why given the standard of the takeaway. My God what a find! A golden nugget by the beach in Frinton!

Young's Other Plaice
117 Old Rd, Frinton-on-SeaWe have travelled from Maldon to Frinton on a regular basis over many years, solely to enjoy the outstanding haddock & chips from Young's Other Plaice. Believe me when I say this is the best fish & chips anywhere in Essex. The quality is truly excellent and has been so for as long as I can remember. Next time you are near Frinton, pay them a visit. When you do, you will go back time and time again.
