“We picked this pub purely based on stars when looking on Google maps whilst on holiday in Clacton.It didn't disappoint in any way and made our holiday something to remember. The decor is charming and the people are lovely. We felt very welcome straight away.We had the chicken bloomer sandwich and the mac and cheese with drinks and it came to under £25. My friend said the mac and cheese was amazing and came with a side of garlic bread. All of our questions were answered and nothing was too much trouble. They even gave my dog a bowl of water. Tip jars are behind the bar and are well deserved. Thank you to the staff that day. You made our experience lovely and happy.Kid-friendliness: There were famies dining whilst we were there.”
