We recently had our wedding reception here and it was perfect. Tony, Angela and the team were amazing and Angela especially, worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best day. The marquee was beautifully decorated and the food was fabulous, catering effortlessly with all our differing dietary requirements. Thank you all so much for helping make our day so special. Just had lunch with my wife and family, sitting in the garden. A really lovely relaxed Inn. The bbq chicken wrap was very tasty. Good choice of ales and very friendly staff. Will be back.

Marvellous! Marvellous and one more for the luck this pub most definitely deserves - Marvellous!Oh, very rarely do I feel so at home in a pub, but The Ship manages this with ease.What is it? The friendly atmosphere? Yes! The wonderful selection of beers? Yes! The helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble? Yes! The comfortable and tasteful decor? Yes!It's seldom I fall in love with a pub but this was definitely love at first pint. Five stars indeed.
