“Staying in the area for 2 nights, we tried 2 different pubs for our evening meals. First night food and service was ok but such a noisy environment we left straight after eating. Second night, Whitmore Arms. Quiet, low background music, delightful waitress Gillian and the best pub food we’ve had in a while. Ava was our other helpful waitress. We both ordered from the Specials Menu. We were offered complimentary liqueurs at the end of our meal too so no need to rush away. Wish we lived nearer but for those who do we recommend Whitmore Arms.”

“Went to the Bull today with friends and the kids for my birthday, manager Ahmed and the team were fab and service was great. Really enjoyed the platter and the booth is a lovely way to celebrate. Pleasure to visit, as always!”

“It was my first time going to this place after driving past it for many years, now I wish I’d gone there sooner! It’s very clean, staff welcomed me and found a table for me as soon as I walked in.
The food is excellent! I ordered a Mediterranean Breakfast, as you can see from the photo, everything on that plate is fresh. Very delicious as well! Total bill for everything was £14, which is decent and well worth it.

I give Dock Café a solid 5/5 and would definitely recommend it.”

“We visited D&P 09/08 for a family drink. We sat outside and some of us ordered food. The service was fantastic, really efficient and friendly and all of the food was amazing. Later in the afternoon a bbq was put on and again was lovely and reasonably priced. All of the staff are very accommodating. It has been a long time since we have visited somewhere that genuinely welcomed children, they had a bouncy castle, a slip and slide, a dart football and giant connect fours for the kids. The staff even provided some water guns and water balloons later in the day and joined in with the children…..and all the kids amusement and activities were free. Really impressed with D&P, was a great day.”
