Really beautiful place to stay and relax, the staff and owners are so Friendly. Food is served fast and it’s very tasty. Absolutely recommend. It’s worth to come and spend some good time in here.

Fantastic experience at the Stag celebrating our grandads 90th birthday. The team were extremely accommodating for our group of 19 and made such an effort, especially for the 5 young children. Food and drink were both excellent. Looking forward to our next visit already.

A thoroughly pleasant Saturday afternoon. Ian & Dawn are great hosts. Inhaled my delicious sausage mash. Excellent meals, afters & drinks all round with a large group. Six Nations rugby (England vs Italy) on very quietly in saloon bar. Civilised friendly locals etc. What's not to like? Loved it. Highly Recommended.Parking: At rear

We visited the stag on a rainy Sunday afternoon seeking warmth, comfort food, peace, and a full tummy!!! We got ALL. Thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a pub, nestled in the countryside. The friendliest of landlords was so welcoming, the Sunday Roast was DELICIOUS and piping hot. The homemade rhubarb crumble was to die for . Service excellent. Me and my better half often find ourselves searching for a good roast on a Sunday. She is vegetarian and I’m not. I have to say this is the first place we have ever both cleaned our plates. Amazing staff, amazing service and the food was to die for probably one of the best local pubs I’ve ever eaten at in the UK.
