Stopped here around lunch time Easter Saturday, after a long walk in the surrounding countryside. Only had tea and cake, but when I say 'only' I have to say that the Victoria Sponge was just gorgeous. Lovely and light, the jam was great (I suspect home made) and the cream filling just yummy. It was gone so quickly, I think I inhaled it rather than ate it. My mother would not be proud.
Afternoon tea for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint, good choice of sandwiches with warm homemade scones and bite sized cakes. A good selection of teas and service was very friendly.

Great Sunday roast. Starters looked as good as they tasted, followed by a wonderful roast dinner. Plenty of roast potatoes, vegetables and a homemade yorkshire. As always a very warm welcome and excellent service. Reasonably priced definitely recommend.
