Lovely fish and chips, batter was excellent and we struggled to eat it all as it was a big bit of fish. The service was good, not overly friendly but you don’t want people fawning over you, like it’s a five star restaurant, when you are eating in a café.
Visited for lunch today, there were 6 of us and they accommodated us happily. The food was really good and plenty of it. Very friendly staff, would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others.

I was genuinely surprised to see negative reviews about this cafe. I left a good tip and complimented the staff on the excellent quality of the food. Lovely large white fish (cod) in very good batter with plenty of nice chips. This was the best fish and chips I have had in a long while. As
