Had a late lunch at the restaurant today. I was particularly by the speed of service. Ordered an omelette with salad. It was lovely. Would visit again.

We love to go to Molens for breakfast on our birthdays we take our children and grandchildren 16-17 of us and we are well looked after very family friendly and the orders always come up just perfect no mistakes and beautifully cooked and presented. I’m not Vegetarian Vegan or on a special diet but I noticed they cater for most diets. We are never rushed and the staff are lovely. The decoration is very inviting too. It’s just as nice for a little lunch when shopping in the area, thoroughly recommend this lovely place.

What a find . Molens is a really pleasant cafe . Much larger than it seems at first. Very pleasant . The service is quick and efficient. The sandwiches are really good. The cafe is nicely designed however the restrooms are remarkable in their decor.

The reason for the poor service was apparently the busyness of the place. I have been in far busier restaurants where customers have not been as ignored as we were today. We had to ask to place our orders, ask for steak knives for our dry chicken, ask to have our finished plates removed, were not asked if we required anything else, eg desserts, more drinks, had to ask twice for the bill, was charged £1.00 for cream for my coffee, and had a service charge, which we had removed because there was no service.

Went with family, 6 of us, for late lunch. Everything was excellent, food lovely, very good service, very kind and helpful staff when my husband tripped and fell over. Nobody's fault he just missed the step.
