Great place , but the food area, I found if he was a manager to be very rude. Basically I ordered chicken nuggets and chips. The nuggets had no flavour. So I went to advise, young girl called a man over and I explained. He replied rudely ( they are chicken) I was a little put back. I didn't say they weren't. I was basically advising they were horrible. Anyway he wasn't very nice and just said do you want anything else. I ordered a hamburger the chips were OK. Anyway after waiting for sometime , the young girl came over and said can i take the nuggets please then you can have the burger, seriously ?. Well at that point I didn't even notice and mid child had eaten them. It made me feel like I was trying to get something extra. I said don't worry about the burger as its too late. I just think the service wasn't very nice. I have been there a nunnery of times, parties and booking myself, either soft play, bowling and skating. But the food not worth ordering.

Worst experience and WONT be coming back!!!!I have beena regular visitor to Madison heights as part of the bowling club and been a regular bowler in league competitions there for over 20 years and now my daughter wants to get into bowling I took her with me on the Saturday of her birthday.On ringing up and booking the lane I felt that the service was poor and the person taking the phone didn't ask basic retail questions, for example my name until I prompted her too....I work in retail so I know she should be asking for this key information from the start of the booking.Now when I go I normally pay a league bowl rate which I was only informed this would not be the case as it's was a Saturday until I arrived at the counter, i was not told this over the phone which forced me hand to pay more than I was expecting.Now as stated I have been going down during the week and teaching my daughter to bowl and as a long term visitor to Madison heights I was given permission to go down the side of the lanes to help with training.After asking if this was ok to do this on the Saturday we attended and it was agreed by the staff at the counter I then during the games of the bowling I'm then shouted out to get off the side of the lane and that 'i should know better'. After explaining this had been agreed there was no apology or anything done to correct the confusion.This made the whole experience frustrating and non enjoyable for the family and ruined part my daughter birthday.Along with this experience of for poor service and confusion the toilets were disgusting and we even said to my daughter to hold off going to the toilet until we got home due the state of them.Overall after all this I will no longer step foot in Madison heights ever again and will my business somewhere else.

My kids love that it has bowling, skating and a play centre BUT it's far too expensive and it is filthy! The facilities are dated, dirty and basically grim!! In every area it is just disgusting!The staff are young and don't care about the place and how it looks or smells. This place needs professional cleaning and a bit of money to spruce it up!!!

Monkey Puzzle soft play itself is good but the drinks especially are so over priced. £2.75 for a 500ml bottle of fizzy! Food isn't much better, £7.95 for a small plate of nachos with a bit of cheese sauce, 6 jalapeños and the smallest portion of sour cream I've ever seen! They also won't refill water bottles even for babies who aren't allowed to drink bottled water. We were there for a party and my daughter who has allergies was given the wrong food (luckily not something she's allergic to) and then given a choc ice that she is allergic to but fortunately knew well enough to refuse it and I was supervising her. It would be good if an ice lolly was available as an alternative for children with dairy allergies as sitting watching their friends eat ice cream while they have nothing is very hard for them, especially when they are neuro diverse. The party host was aware there were two children with allergies but made no effort to ensure she was providing them with the correct food. Fortunately the play element and the company she was with was enough to mean my child still enjoyed the party but there are definitely improvements that could be made.

Went there for my grandson birthday the table collapsed on me only two screws holding it up only leaned across to get my drink phone got broken filled in a accident form got a few bruises when I return the next day told the tables wer not for weight cheeky basterds got photo evidence didn't even get as much as an apology

We do love coming here for a skate. The rink is a great size, it has a really nice vibe with the music and we enjoy the variety of food and drink that is reasonably priced. However, the skate rink lacks having marshalls, so from a safety perspective, you have skaters of mixed ages and abulities going the wrong way against the flow, which could be dangerous. Also, the place could benefit from a good clean. The floor is quite dirty. 3.5 stars for this reason.

Don't let the outside fool you, it might look a little tired but this is a great place for and evenings fun. The pulled pork nachos and mozzarella sticks were very good too!

Fantastic place , I travelled from Nottinghamshire to visit to see my granddaughter, we were in there hours . Food is great and fab prices to .
Good fun for all the family. From Ten pin bowling, rolling skating, soft play, Amusements or pool. 2 good value restaurants.
I've now eaten at the restaurant here and been skating. Both were fab! Good value and good times.
