I couldn't fault the food or the conversation.Parking: Plenty of room if you're there early enough.. gets a bit crowded on a warm, sunny day but it's why you go there.

Thursday night 8.45pm, after football training. The guys could have been forgiven for not being at their best. However it was completely the opposite. The service was absolutely first class. Four of us were treated like royalty, given a free drink and essentially looked after above and beyond what you would expect. I would recommend this place to anyone, the staff are unbelievably welcoming, generous and full of interesting chat. Thanks so much for making Thursday night training so brilliant

A great experience in a one of restaurant. This place is amazing, the food is authentic Indian food. I’ve tried the fish dishes and the salmon tikka is cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The paneer starters is very nice too, the samosas are unique and much better than you normally get in an Indian restaurant. The curries are superb, Bombay potatoes are so nice. The side dishes are not the same portion size as you would expect, but they are ample for two people and we aren’t big eaters. The cost is reasonable and definitely worth getting the loyalty card. The management are lovely people, they’ve worked hard to maintain a Great restaurant. I like that they are able to explain the history behind the dish and ingredients used to make the dishes so special. They also open Christmas Day, we’ve eaten there on Christmas Day and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and great food again. One of the best restaurants in Maldon

Pizza is good, chips and wings not so much.Food: Pizza was tasty but a little smaller than they say (9inch pizza is 8 inches), chips are mediocre, and the bbq wings were dry and disappointing. Stick to the pizza and you'll be alright.Ordered via their website (which redirects you to just eat) after getting a leaflet through the door. But the leaflet says one thing and justeat says another (specifically delivery fees, meal deals, and options within the meal deals).I could report to the advertising standards authority because this is literally false advertising, but that's a lot of effort and I don't want to cause them the drama...Delivery time was as expected, and the driver was polite.

Planned stop on a night out to watch the rugby, as we found the pub were showing the match. They have a large room with a big screen, showing most major sports. For significant matches it’s worth booking seats. There is also a screen at the other end o& the pub with good seating and standing areas. So, based on our criteria for having a beer or two whilst watching the match, it met our expectations.

Amazing food. We ordered two different platters with various sides. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the curly fries were perfect and crispy when they arrived which is so unusual for a takeaway! It was like Nando’s but 10 times better. Would definitely make this place out local takeaway. Gutted they are on holiday now until June (from what it says on their website). Was nice to have something different in Heybridge from the usual takeaways!

We stayed for 2 nights in the touring section. Thr site is well located to travel around a little or close walk to the beach and walkway.The pitch had everything we needed with electric and nearby water tap. We were a short walk from a toilet and shower block, where the facilities a little dated but did the job. There was a nearer block slightly further away but didn't go to them.The site itself was very well maintained and a modern bar / restaurant which has various entertainment across the few days we were there.Would certainly recommend and would stay again

A good friend and I meet here about one a month as it’s got a great atmosphere, prices are very reasonable and I’ve never had a bad meal from there in the past few years. The staff are friendly and efficient (especially Kim who we always have a quick chat with).If I had to find a negative it would be the Internet access in there – the phones mobile signal is quite bad so I think everybody is trying to use the Wi-Fi which is horrendously slow on busy periods and sometimes make it extremely difficult to use the app and order food/drinks.(Maybe a computer guru could allow Wetherspoons app to have priority on the Wi-Fi which would really really help)

We've been here several times over the last few years and every time the food has been amazing, the service friendly, and the river - muddy! The place is obviously very popular in the summer with the outdoor tables and we did wonder how warm it would be in the cabins on a cold winters day but they were well heated and we were toasty. Food was amazing as usual, we both had the burger for the first time and both agreed that it was tasty, filling, and original - neither of us have had a burger like it before. We'll be back for sure.

My daughter can't eat wheat, So thought we'd try it out, was a hour drive for us so was a bit of a gamble, but it well and truly paid off!Atmosphere was very welcoming, service was attentive, food was superb, my daughter loved her gf free bagel cream cheese and salmon, orange and almond cake and bubble tea which she had never had before.The cheese Pastrami ciabatta was out of this world.
