A bit put off when we were told that there was a one hour wait for food but it was worth waiting for. Looking at the menu it did appear pretty expensive at £8.00 for a sandwich but when it arrived it was enormous with chips and salad so not expensive after all. In fact the portions are so generous that my wife chose her fish and chips from the children's menu and still struggled to finish.
A well oiled machine for tourist food and drink, but obviously as a pub for decent beer it's a disaster! But they are good at what they do, if you've got hungry kids in tow, this is ideal.

In an excellent spot by the river with lots of outside tables. We nearly didn't eat because the menu looked dull but when we saw the plates of food going past we changed our minds. In fact it was reasonably priced, came quickly despite being a busy Sunday and was generously portioned, I don't recognise many of the comments below.
