First time visiting here for about 15years after moving out of the area for a little while. Having moved back locally I regret leaving it so long before returning. The service from Claire was the same great friendly and welcoming service that I remember. Great selection of local beers. The food was fantastic and the portions were epic. Really cannot fault anything. Will definitely be making the journey back again.

Visited today staff fantastic, food Roast was not all that not very hot bearly any vegetables on anyone roasts.. It is expensive for what we had, would I return? Not sure.. Toilets need work and did complain about them.

We recently hired the White Horse to celebrate my 50th birthday. The staff were fantastic, both in the lead-up to the party and on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. They did a superb job catering for different diets/allergies, recommended and hired a great DJ and ensured everything ran smoothly on the night. Our guests praised the pub and its decor, the food and the music - it was all outstanding and we couldn’t have had a better evening! Thank you so much Malcolm and team!

Had a lovely lunch at the white horse in maldon. We had a seafood small plate to start, with calamari, breaded prawn, and salad. Main was steak and Stilton pie with roast baby potatoes and seasonal veg. The ladies toilets were nice with free sanitary products, body spray and hand cream. Lovely experience.

Highly recommend this great pub. They managed to fit 10 of us in for dinner on Saturday fairly last minute. Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff very friendly.

Called in for drink and something to eat with my wife, lovely friendly welcome with nothing to much trouble. Lovely comfy chairs makes you want to just stay there. Good selection of food on offer with a specials board as well so stops it getting boring. All our food tasted lovely and was well presented, nothing not to like well worth a visit.
