“Lovely old pub, lot's of snug rooms, two winged leather armchairs in front a wood burning stove. Just needs a chess board. Lovely. (Unique urinals!)”

“Saturday lunchtime the pub had diners inside and drinkers outside on a lovely summers day. There were two young members of staff managing everything who were informative and friendly. We had the flat iron steak and it was superb, we will definitely visit again soon.”

“We stayed in the Stour room for 3 nights, communication when booking was good and on arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome. The room is lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and separate toilet.Breakfasts and dinners were fabulous with some lovely options on the menu. We found all the staff to be both attentive and friendly.The Crown is in a great location on the High Street and overlooking the estuary.After such a memorable stay we are looking forward to staying with you again next year.”
