We stayed here for 2 nights to visit friends. The staff were very efficient and welcoming and in particular Andy & Kate couldn’t do enough for us. Great parking also at the rear of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and modern with lots of attention to detail to ensure that we had everything we needed. I loved the bed, so comfy and linen was of a lovely quality. Had our works Christmas meal here and couldn’t fault it. The food was great, the service just right and the pub looked beautiful with all the Christmas decorations. Really nice evening- thank you

What a FAB night we had last night at The Crown. A great community event with the Colchester Brass Band in attendance. Lots of singing and smiling faces. Mulled wine, mince pies and Festive Fun! Thanks to all of the hard working staff. We had a blast!
