I only down rate atmosphere because we had a corner to ourselves. First time in many (30ish) years I've been here. We went on a Wednesday night staff were friendly & polite, food was delicious & we were informed that they are currently looking for a chef & the manager was cooking in the mean time. All I can say is keep him in the kitchen! Food was fab & fresh & definitely made in house. Even better when we discovered it was 2 for the price of 1 in January. Thank you we will be back.

good pub food, the place has an amazing atmosphere, clean and well designed toddler friendly toilets. Large car park. Responsive friendly service. Children play area in the garden. We stopped off A12 to have lunch, it was an amazing find, well recommended just for a good peaceful meal.Kid-friendliness: Toilets is designed as a toddler friendly.Play area at the back in the garden.
