Staff were very polite and efficient but nothing overly special taking it that extra step.Food was fantastic. Cannot fault it.No real atmosphere to speak of. Quite flat to be honest. No interactions, from staff, to any tables, just basic service only.Would I go back for the food..... PossiblyWould I go back for the special experience...... I doubt it.
Spent a lovely day at Greenwoods and had a beautiful room in the hotel, ate in their restaurant Ellis’s for our evening meal and breakfast. Service was perfect, lovely waitress who was both friendly and professional. We both ordered the rib eye steak that was charcoal grilled to perfection, up there as one of the top ten steaks I have eaten, great chunky chips ( could have been a bit more golden for perfection) the extra green salad we ordered was fresh and delicious, nice extra...read full review

Delicious food as always here at Ellie’s. The restaurant is always comfortable and with beautiful surroundings but at the moment with the Christmas Decorations it looks absolutely magical. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend dining here.
