“If I could chose 10 stars I would! Everything was sensational from the food to the wine, the ambiance, and the service. Our waitress Sacha was amazing. Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and not overbearing. We came for steak night and boy did it impress.I used to live in Manningtree and came more frequently, but since moving back to Ipswich haven’t been for a couple of years. It was worth the trip!Too many places offer quantity without quality, but this was both. I’ll be back soon, but with looser trousers!!It was lovely to get to chat with Paul and Sacha after our meal. Paul really is the host with the most.Try for yourselves - you’ll be back time and again!!”

“Went a couple of weeks ago for 3 or 4 drinks before our fish n chips from next door.Great service & the landlord treated our little Eddie border terrier like a king by pulling out treat after treat.Nice choice of ales & wines”
