The Walled Garden Cafe
Acorn Village, Clacton Rd, ManningtreeA lovely place to visit. Great atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Food produced on site and so very fresh. We had scones fresh from the oven and they were delicious. The veggie sausage roll was the nicest one I've tasted and such lovely light pastry. A real hidden gem that I highly recommend. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Heidi (The Station Wagon)
High St, Mistley, ManningtreeHeidi is a vintage/classic Citroën H-class van with servery conversion panelwork. I love these old Citroën commercials, they're as functionality styled as is possible & although not exactly beautiful are nonetheless somehow 'cute'! Whenever I walk past Heidi outside Mistley Railway Station I always think of Peter Sellers in the role of Inspector Clouseau, as it was in the Pink Panther films I first saw these vans. If only all vehicles were still built & looked like Heidi...

Gardeners Arms Stutton
Manningtree Rd, Stutton, IpswichIt was my first time here at the Gardeners Arms and I was quite impressed with how quirky and different it was to every other pub!
We had a very nice meal here.
I chose the flat steak only as ive never even heard of a flat steak hehe. I was not dissapointed it was very good, so good I forgot to take a picture!
Landlord was very attentive and down to earth.
Plenty of parking
I most definitely recommend visiting!

The Waterfront Cafe
WATERFRONT CAFE, Mistley, ManningtreeExcellent, quirky cafe with a great food! Food and service were both excellent, despite being full are orders were taken straight away and the food arrived quickly and was very well prepared and tasty. We will definitely visit again.
