We had such a good time here. Went as friends for a catch up and bottomless brunch. Our server Lauren E was so lovely! Staff were very friendly and on point with serving us. Would highly recommend! Good food, great atmosphere, drinks were nice. Will definitely be returning

Great service, food was okish....starter was cold should have been hot or even warm, bland nothing to hold it altogether when eating , main again much the same , table sticky and napkin marked could well have been reused.....needs attention in the areas noted above,Card service only....But service was GOOD

Celebrating a birthday with an afternoon lunch with 4 friends. Service was good but to be fair, there were very few other diners in the restaurant. I had the chicken based main and it could have been hotter and it was rather dry. Deserts choices were good but portion size was a bit lacking.With a discount voucher the total bill was OK but would have been very expensive for what it was.
Service none existent until I told manager. Drinks took ages to arrive while tables around us got there’s even though they arrived after us. Got the starter, main course, no one asked if all OK. Not going

Prezzo Rayleigh was a welcome addition to Rayleigh when it first opened. In more recent years the quality of the food has been in decline. I ate there a year ago and was relieved that I didn’t order my favourite dish, Carbonara, after seeing my friends being served it. It was a bowl of congealed pasta with scrambled egg stirred through it. I would have refused to accept it. They couldn’t eat it. I then heard that other friends had also had disappointing meals there. So when a different friend suggested we eat here as she had a discount, I was wary after my last experience. The restaurant was busy so I thought that was a good sign. I really wanted the lobster bisque but I thought there was too much for Prezzo to get wrong. I ordered a pizza. My friends ordered the lobster bisque and the mushroom risotto. When my pizza arrived my friends commented on the lack of toppings. Then there’s arrived. A few pieces of lobster ravioli with no bisque. My friend assumed the chef had forgotten to pour the sauce on. But the waitress returned the plate saying the bisque was on the plate. Not that it could seem with the naked eye! Very disappointing. My other friend’s risotto topped the ravioli. Her mushroom risotto was served as a bowl of grey soup. We just laughed as it look so unappealing. She stirred her ‘soup’ to find the rice and slivers of a few mushrooms. I made them wait until I finished my scantily topped pizza before I suggested ordering dessert. By this time, they were so fed up that they couldn’t face Prezzo getting that wrong too. It’s such a shame that the food in this restaurant is just so awful. We raised it with the waitress but what could she do? She spoke to the kitchen but they advised that what we received was how they served their dishes. We paid over £90 with a discount card. We tipped the waitress as it was not her fault that the food was so awful but I would have been happier for my friends to not have paid for their food. We will not be back.

We decided to give this restaurant a try dispite the recent negative reviews … We didn’t book , we walked in and thay had a table for two ( a booth ) available . The heating was cranked up , lovely and warm , the waitress Sophie was attentive and took our drink and food orders . She returned swiftly with our drinks , and soon our starters arrived , garlic bread was nice and home made , and the olives also good . The beer was good angelo poretti , never had this before . Then the mains , calzone was lovey , hot , and well cooked . My daughter had the pasta , which was also good . We was happy with the food and service . Thanks again .

Went there last night for my Grandaughters birthday. This restaurant was recommended to us, but wont be going there again.The starters were ok, but toppings were few and far between.The main coarses needed a lot to be desired. I ordered spaghetti, crab and chilli. The crab was nowhere to be found and the pasta was cold. The broth or what ever it was in the bottom of the bowl was cold just pasta water.....Completely NO flavour in this dish.The price of the house wine was criminal. All our meals were over priced and not enjoyable. None of us enjoyed the food but it was a family night out, great company but spoit by a sub standard meal. The only positive thing was our waitress was lovely and very attentive.If only the food was on par with the waiting staff.
