74 High St, RayleighMy Partner and I have been going to Star Cafe for 5years and have always enjoyed the 4 breakfast. Service is good but todaý the coffee was not hot. The bacon smothered in black bits was extremely salty.The meal was not up to standard.I spoke to waitress about the bacon.We ate it but it was cold.My partner complained when he paid because the meal did not taste fresh.Its a shame because it was my favourite Cafe and I don't think I want to visit again.

159 High St, Rayleighpleasant place and decently priced. food was nice. tikka kushbu was nice but lamb was a bit tough. we also had syleti makhani which was also good but a teeny bit bland - however this might just be the nature of the dish being a buttery mild curry. the side dishes of bombay aloo and chana masala were nice, rice was a good portion, the garlic naan was amazing, poppadoms came with some of the nicest dips i’ve had at an indian too. there’s an item on the menu, pretty sure it’s called ‘thali’ and it gives you a bit of everything on a platter, bit like a set meal. unfortunately they only do this monday-wednesday and we went on a thursday. it would be a nice addition to see this as an item served every night but possibly for a higher price on busier days. staff were friendly and quick service - although we were the only people there.

The service they received was amazing and the food was great. All staff went above and beyond. Not all restaurants give such nice treatment to younger guests especially on a busy Friday. Thanks to all the staff!

We had a large group of 14 on a Thursday evening and all our meals came out together and all hot.Portions are generous and so tasty.Definitely recommendParking: There are 3 local car parks available with free parking after 6pm. Furthest (Webster’s Way and The Mill) are probably a 5 minute walk away, closest (but smallest) about 2 minutes (Market car park).

I recommend going here In the morning for breakfast or lunch as its a very nice atmosphere. Also, their homemade milkshakes are THE best I have had in my entire life generally! They offer a bit of everything such as paninis, sandwiches, salads, and nearly every breakfast you can think of... they have a lot of variety. 100% worth 5 stars!

12-16 Hockley Rd, RayleighFirst time at Barringtons and will definitely be returning. The food was amazing and was possibly the best steak that I've ever had. I find it hard to understand why so many people comment on the age of the waiting staff, they were absolutely spot on and nothing was to much. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I'm looking forward to my next meal there.
